ParentRecord is an early-stage digital product designed to help separated parents keep communication organised, clear, and easy to review.

During early access, ParentRecord may include prototypes, incomplete features, or research-only tools. The service is provided for evaluation, feedback, and research purposes.

ParentRecord is not a legal service, not legal advice, and not a substitute for professional guidance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ParentRecord.

By signing up for early access, you confirm you are legally able to provide your own information and you understand the platform is in development.

ParentRecord is currently intended primarily for UK users, though access may be granted elsewhere during testing.

3. Accounts & Security

If you are invited to use ParentRecord, you are responsible for keeping your access details secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.

You must not share access with others without permission. We may suspend or remove access if we believe the service is being misused or interfered with.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ParentRecord for harassment, abuse, intimidation, or unlawful activity. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading content, impersonate another person, or attempt to access systems or data not intended for you.

ParentRecord is designed to reduce conflict by improving clarity and organisation, not to escalate disputes.

5. Records, Integrity & Editing

ParentRecord is designed to preserve clarity and continuity. Entries are intended to be treated as a record.

• Content is not intended to be overwritten.
• If changes or corrections are needed, they should be added as new entries.
• This approach helps maintain a clear timeline over time.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use any exports or summaries.

6. Consent-First Calls, Interviews & Transcripts

During early access and research, ParentRecord may invite you to participate in interviews or test calls. Any audio recording or transcription will only take place with your clear consent.

• You will be informed in advance if a conversation is recorded or transcribed.
• Consent will be requested before recording begins.
• No secret or covert recordings are permitted as part of ParentRecord research or product use.

Recordings and transcripts may be used solely for research, product improvement, and internal analysis. They are not shared publicly.

7. Exports & Sharing

ParentRecord may allow you to export summaries or records. You are responsible for deciding when to share exports and for ensuring appropriate consent where required.

ParentRecord does not control how exported files are used once they leave the platform.

8. Fees, Trials & Billing

During early access, ParentRecord is provided free of charge. Pricing, subscriptions, or paid plans may be introduced later.

If billing is introduced, users will be informed in advance and updated terms may apply.

9. Disclaimers

ParentRecord does not provide legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. It does not guarantee outcomes in disputes or proceedings.

The service is provided on an “as is” basis during early access. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable at times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ParentRecord is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on your records, summaries, or exports.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using ParentRecord at any time.

We may suspend or end early access if the service is withdrawn, if misuse occurs, or if testing phases conclude.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.

Continued use of ParentRecord after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
